Though you wouldn't necessarily know it by the blog's title, Nick Reiber has returned to the world of Posting Things On The Internet at his new site, Schneiblog.  I'll let YOU ask him about the title.  Just coming about as of yesterday, he has a modest, but decent, beginning, and if you care to read what someone named Nick Reiber has to share with the world... well, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

YTMND.com (You're The Man Now Dog) is known for being quick, hilarious, and often a little crazy.  Each entry gets its own page, and the site's general style is uniquely its own.  Yesterday, though, I came across a link that turned against the tide, when I discovered something on YTMND I wouldn't normally expect - something straightforward and beautiful:

My pal shared this Facebook ad with me yesterday, with the intent of believing it appropriate for the hilarity of I ♥ The Internet.  As you can see below, I concur with this belief .

What sort of horror and black magic is this?  Turning beautiful young women into crazy old ladies?  That may be your cup of tea, folks, but it certainly ain't mine.

Ah, who am I kidding - I LOVE crazy old ladies.  Sure that hot blonde Before is sexy as heck with her come hither look and pearly white smile - but look what she becomes!!  That old After is so hilarious, and obviously crazy, that I would be insane to not rather spend my time with her... she even still has the same arched eyebrow she did when she was younger - if that sexiness matters to you.  So, I say, bring on the madness!  It's time to morph ALL of our young women into crazy old ladies!  Viva la revolucion!

I've dabbled in Flash, and it's a really fun concept presented here - in fact it gives me an idea for an art project I thought of many years ago, but never worked on.  The real highlight, I think, is the song that plays... it's beautiful.  I have no idea what she's saying (or what any of the site says, for that matter), but by golly it's a lovely tune.  Enjoy!

Just like in a previous entry, the comment truncation of Facebook has afforded another hilarious mystery.  What is it that went so horribly wrong between the first and last comments to bring forth such a PG-rated insult?  I only hope we can be friends again one day .

Yeah,  I love the internet, but it's not always for hilarious reasons.  Case in point: Nataly Dawn.  I found this gal on YouTube a few days ago, and I subscribed to her channel right away.  There is an element of quirk and creativity to her videos and songs, but at the base of it all, she's just a talented gal.  Her collaborative project with Jack Conte is great too (Pomplamoose).

This is one of my favorites of hers.  A lovely and simple little rendition of Queen's Play the Game.  Added bonus: she's freaking adorable

On Facebook, after a story reaches a certain number of comments, only the first and last are shown - with the middle comments hidden unless clicked on.  I was a part of this conversation, but for anyone who wasn't... those must've been the three most entertaining/frightening/illegal comments

I WAS writing an entry about something a little more serious - but then I came across a hilarious video about beating up kids and had to change plans.  I know where my priorities are ;-)  I saw the sequel first, but here they are in order.  They made me cry, I laughed so hard.

After hearing leaked audio of Christian Bale getting very furious at the DP while filming a scene, I thought I'd pop on over to IMDB to see what those crazy folks had to say about it.  If you don't know what audio I speak of, you can find it HERE.  He swears up a storm, so you might not want the speakers too loud (and I know the original clip came from TMZ, but I'll be darned if I'm going to link to them)

So, anyways, back to IMDB.  Of course there were posts in his defense and there were posts damning him for being an evil human being, but there was one title that made me smile.  Their suggestion?

"The DP should've said 'Why So Serious?'"
